An interesting reportage from a village in Wardak province, where many people welcomed and even celebrated the Taleban victory in Kabul but still insist that girls should attend school. It only goes up to grade 6 but “The school [when it] opened two months ago, [it] mark[ed] the first time in 20 years girls in the village have ever stepped foot in a classroom.”
