IMU Takes Root In Increasingly Insecure Northern Afghan Provinces

Afghanistan’s deputy national security adviser has confirmed that the IMU is operating on Afghan territory. The Movement appears to be most active in the triangle of Konduz, Takhar and Baghlan.
