On invitation of the prestigious Swedish Committee for Afghanistan – one of the longest engaged NGOs in the country – AAN co-director Thomas Ruttig will be in a number of public events discussing current events and results of the post-2014 international intervention in Afghanistan. They will take place in three Swedish cities, at Lund, Malmö and the capital Stockholm between 14 and 16 October 2014.

The first event will be held in Malmö:

The second event will be held in the university town of Lund:

The events in Malmö and Lund are organised by the Association of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the Swedish Committee for Afghanistan.

The third event, an afternoon seminar, will be in Stockholm:

title: “An afternoon on Afghanistan – the situation, Sweden’s engagement and the responsibilities of the international community” hosted by the Swedish Committee for Afghanistan and other Swedish NGOs

followed by a panel discussion with Thomas Ruttig, Anders Sjöberg and Magnus Carlquist, discussion moderated by Krister Holm, Swedish Committee for Afghanistan
