AAN accepts private donations. The donations will be used to create a financial reserve that can be used in the case of possible funding shortfalls, in order to safeguard AAN’s independence of reporting.
Donations can be made to AAN’s account at IBAN: DE70 1604 0000 0502 7776 05, BIC: COBADEFFXXX; under reference: ‘Donation for AAN – from: [Name of the donor]’
All future proceeds of the sale of Kindle editions of AAN’s publications will be counted as donations and will be added to AAN’s reserve.
In the case of AAN’s dissolution, the funds will be donated to an Afghan organisation that furthers the cause of independent research in Afghanistan.
