Uncovering a secret that never was one, the German language service of Russia’s state radio reports ISAF commander Dunford’s “revealing” that there will be US combat troops in Afghanistan after 2014. AAN’s Thomas Ruttig is quoted here as answering to the question whether that means that the NATO mission has failed, that there was more at stake in Afghanistan then the military aspect, and that a political solutions has not been achieved.
