Thanks to the German daily: In a comment about the Taleban takeover of Kunduz, it found an AAN prediction from 2013 that “civil war is the most likely scenario” for future Afghanistan. (We wrote that there already is a civil war in ongoing and it is likely to continue…):

Die Internationale Crisis Group (ICG) warnt 2013 vor einem Kollaps der Regierung, das Afghanistan Analysts Network (AAN) hält im gleichen Jahr einen „Bürgerkrieg für ein Szenario, das wahrscheinlich ist“, das In­ternationale Komitee vom Ro­ten Kreuz warnte vor ei­ner massive „Zunahme der bewaffneten Gruppen“.
