AAN’s Thomas Ruttig reports for the Berlin-based daily Germany’s sixth deportation flight to Taleban-ruled Afghanistan on this very day; it was also the first one by which a non-criminal Afghan was included. So far, deportations were limited to convicted criminals who had committed substantial crimes and individuals considered a terrorist threat. The German government had just made this legally possible in early July. 31 Afghan men were deported on board of this flight (article in German).
